Start your day off by meeting your guide in Fisherman’s Wharf. After a brief roll call, we will embark on our guided e-bike tour where you’ll enjoy a scenic bike ride through the streets of San Francisco. Our e-bikes make it easy to cruise up those hills and let you enjoy the views of the city. You can choose to bike over the Golden Gate Bridge, cruise along the San Francisco Bay, grab a photo at the Sausalito, explore Muir Woods, San Francisco and so much more!
Enjoy Lunch in the Beautiful Town of Sausalito
After your bike ride you will enjoy lunch while soaking in the views of the Bay. There are many different dining options from sandwiches, salads, fish and chips, seafood and world famous Lappert’s Ice Cream!! After lunch you will be picked up via our minibus and brought to Muir Woods.
Explore Muir Woods
After lunch in Sausalito, explore the incredible redwood trees and the many trails the park at Muir Woods has to offer.
9:45 AM — Arrive to Blazing Saddles:
- We safely check your e-bike and make sure you’re familiar with everything before we hit the road.
10:00 AM–1:00 PM — A guided tour from SF to Sausalito:
- Your guide and small group will explore the city together, with several photo stops along the way and opportunities to learn about our favorite neighborhoods. You’ll also receive plenty of great recommendations, city history, and stories from your local guide.
1:00 PM–2:45 PM — A lunch break in Sausalito:
- After your bike ride, it is time for lunch and there is no better place to eat than in the quaint town of Sausalito. We will provide you with multiple recommendations on the best places to eat and catch a view of the San Francisco skyline.
2:45 PM: Meet your bus guide in Sausalito for your shuttle to Muir Woods.
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Hike in Muir Woods:
- You will have over an hour to walk amongst the biggest trees in the world, the California Redwoods. Your guide will give you directions on different trails and the best way to enjoy the forest. At the end of your hike, you will meet up with your guide to return to the city.
5:00 PM: Drop off back at starting location.
On average, it takes roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour, biking at a leisurely pace (i.e. stopping along the route for photos and enjoying the different neighborhoods) to bike from our bike shop to the Golden Gate Bridge.
The route is 7 miles and has 2 hills. Overall, this is a “beginner/intermediate” bike ride, suitable for almost anyone young or old. We do recommend being at least 12 years old. For the electric bikes we offer, we recommend being at least 16.

Our standard rentals are for ages 12 and up and our electric bikes are for ages 16+

Our ride will be along the beautiful San Francisco Bay, where you will pass Aquatic Park, the Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, and the Golden Gate Bridge! Biking the bridge is rated as the #1 thing for people to do while in San Francisco. The ride features some bike paths and some street traffic, as well as the aforementioned comfortable hill or two.
What is Muir Woods?
Muir Woods National Monument is located 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and is home to some of the oldest and tallest living trees in the world.
This popular destination is part of the United States National Park Service and is considered to be one of the most peaceful destinations in the Bay Area.
