Golden Gate Bridge
Bike across one of the world’s most famous landmarks. See Breathtaking views of San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, the San Francisco Bay and Marin County. There are gift shops and photo/resting points on both ends of the bridge.
Golden Gate Park
Travel through famous GGP: Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Gardens, DeYoung Museum, California Academy of Sciences, Stow Lake, Dutch Windmill, Shakespeare’s Rose Garden and many more beautiful gardens and grounds. The park is closed to automobile traffic on Saturday and Sunday, so you may bike freely through the paths and streets.
Mission District
Bike through the cultural heritage of the Mission District. See the beautiful murals depicting Latino and Mexican cultures, struggle and triumph. Eat at the local taqueria’s for authentic Mexican food or quench your thirst at a trendy local bar.
Sausalito
After biking the bridge, coast down into the quaint Mediterranean-style, waterfront town, Sausalito. The town is bike-friendly and there are many eateries and shops to visit, as well as stunning views of the San Francisco skyline from across the San Francisco Bay.
Ocean Beach
Historical Cliff House Restaurant, Sutro Bath ruins and long stretch of beach and promenade. Visit the historical museum at Beach Chalet then continue down the promenade to the San Francisco Zoo.
Ferry Building/AT&T Park
Leisurely peruse the many local artisan boutiques and eateries at the famous Ferry Building. Indulge in specialty foods from olive oils, chocolate, gelato and fine breads! There are many restaurants and cafes as well as stores, shops and even a Saturday Farmer’s Market! Catch a Giants game at AT&T Park!
